About Me

    My name is Eric Torres. My interests are in; video games, and anything technology related.  I am interested in graphic design as I am fascinated by the way logos are developed and other things similar to that. I am also interested in the process that goes into graphic design and how it works. Some interesting facts are that my birthday is January 19, I have an older brother called Alexis and a younger brother called Gian, I have 2 dogs called Max and Toby, I am Salvadorian, I went to the same charter school from kindergarten to 8th grade, and I can't handle spice. My hobbies are playing video games, editing videos, and watching shows/videos. My dream is to be a video game designer and work on my own game and to at least make any amount of money competitively in games as I have come close to getting money multiple times. Finally a goal that I have other than becoming a video game designer or gaining money competitively is to start making money from YouTube on the side as a second source of income.

  Plane 1: This shows plane as it shows different values that display contrast and consists of only flat shapes. I feel like I did pretty well on this as it shows negative and positive space equally but there are some small mistakes. Line 1: This shows line as it shows random lines in all different places and in different lengths. I feel like I did well as the lines are fairly straight and create an abstract piece of work but there are some small mistakes. Point 1: This shows point as it is a bunch of dots scattered around the page. I feel like I did well as I used different types of points in different shapes and sizes. Exploring Repetition Final

I feel like I did well on this one as I took the most time with it. I like how it came out and how it looks as it’s just how I imagined it would. I don’t think I would have done anything differently as it looks good but maybe some neatness would be fine. I do feel like my drawing skills improved a bit as I took more time to do the work. I feel like I did well and took my time to make it look well. I like how it looks but I think I could work on using more of the blank space. I would’ve probably fixed my issue of not using scrap paper to stop the bleeding. Since I forget the next page and the next drawing has quite a bit of bleeding which ruins the image. I feel like they didn’t really improve from this piece as it is just shapes and not much else. I feel like I did ok on this but I wish I could do something better. I think it looks fine but is too simple and I only did this one since there was sharpie bleeding through so I used the black bars to cover that and it also get rid of a patt...
